Always read and follow the care instructions and any warnings on the clothing label.

Caution: Do not attempt to treat stains on leather yourself.

Take leather to a professional dry cleaner for their opinion. Also, be advised that some changes in the colour and "look" of the leather will almost always occur in the cleaning process. This is because there are often differences in the skins used, differences in colour-fastness, loss of oils in the cleaning, and other factors related to the nature of the leather.
