Curry often contains turmeric, which is a fabric dye; so wash the stain as soon as possible in a detergent that contains bleach. If the stain persists, white and colour-fastness items can be soaked in a solution of 20% volume hydrogen peroxide, diluted 1 part to 9 parts cold water. Then rinse well and launder as normal.
